June was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and a true servant of the Lord. She was retired from sales management with Ethyl Corp. and Georgia Gulf. A resident of Baton Rouge and native of Milroy, Minn., she passed away Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2011, in Baton Rouge. Visitation at Trinity Lutheran Church on Saturday, Oct. 8, from 9:30 a.m. until religious service at 11 a.m., conducted by Pastor Dave Buss, Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park. June is survived by her husband, John Daniel Taylor, of 69 years; daughter, Susan Taylor Beam and husband Michael Walton Beam; son, William Rolland Taylor and wife Betty; four grandchildren, William Ron Taylor Jr., John Daniel Taylor, Jason Taylor Beam and Regan Taylor Scott; and six great-grandchildren, Kelsey, Katelyn, Alexis and Austin Taylor, Chase Taylor and Brody Michael Scott. June was preceded in death by her parents, Osborne and Olga Rolland’ brother, Manley Rolland; and sister, Lila Rolland. Pallbearers will be Jason Beam, Ron Taylor, John Taylor, Chase Taylor, John Floyd Taylor and Billy Rountree. Honorary pallbearers are Glenn Richards and Shane Scott. June was a graduated Humboldt Business College, Minneapolis, and graduated from Walnut Grove High School in 1939. She was a member of the American Business Women’s Association, Trinity Lutheran Church, the adult choir, Lutheran Women’s Missionary League and Wednesday AM Ladies Bible class.
