JoAnn Tucker Pulliam, 89, was called home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, February 28, 2023. A loving wife to Reggie Pulliam for 66 years, mom, momo, great momo, and sister, she lived a fulfilling life of love, faith and devotion to family. JoAnn worked with her husband as office manager of his CPA practice, and was the driving force behind the family run Kringlewood Christmas Tree Farm in Central. She was very involved with her two children in scouting and youth group at Ingleside United Methodist and attended the birth of 3 of her grandchildren. JoAnn loved to read and embroidery, making a baby quilt for each of her grandchildren for the birth of their children. She was a member of Zachary United Methodist where she enjoyed the Godly love of the people, church services, Sunday School, Wednesday night dinners and Bible study until she was unable to attend after the death of Reggie. JoAnn was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Eunice Chapter #14 for 70 years.
She is survived by daughter Donna Lee (David), son Dan Pulliam (Ann); seven grandchildren, David Deville (Abby), Katelyn Pulliam (fiancé Dylan Boyd), Hunter Pulliam, Max Lee (Sarah), Devin Lee (Julia), David Lee (Samantha) and Nathan Lee; 11 great grandchildren, Malik, Devyn Ann, Ashton, Fysher, Alexandria, Natalie, Ruby, Adam, Henderson, Hannah, and Artemis Joan, sister-in-law Sara Tucker and numerous nieces and nephews. Special thanks and love go out to her caregivers Barbara Cole and Aimmi Johnson. Preceded in death by her husband Reggie Pulliam, parents Walter and Ella Berta McDonald Tucker, brothers Donald Lee Tucker and Walter Tucker.
Services will be conducted by long time friend and minister Reverend Tim Lawson at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd, Baton Rouge, La on Saturday, March 4, 2023. Visitation from 10AM until the time of funeral services at 12PM, burial will immediately follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in JoAnn’s name to either Zachary United Methodist Church, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or to an animal rescue group of your choice.
