Jenny Lee Chustz

On Saturday, May 4, 2013, Jenny Chustz, age 80, went to heaven to meet the love of her life, Ray Chustz. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at Lane Regional Medical Center. Jenny was a native of El Dorado, Texas and raised in Los Angeles, Ca. After her marriage to Ray, she became a lifetime resident of Baton Rouge, La. She was a retired insurance underwriter. She is survived by her three sons and daughters-in-law; Steven and Cathey Cross Chustz, Rickey and Dana Caruso Chustz, Randy and Jeannie O'Neal Chustz; seven grandchildren; Stefanie and Taylor Chustz, Lindsay Chustz Guerin, Kaitlyn, Victoria, Mckenzie, and Briana Chustz. She is preceded in death by her parents John L. and Georgia Gray, sister Bobbie Hamrick; brothers R.W. (Son), Harold, and Jack Gray. Jenny enjoyed a love of dancing with her husband, fishing, spending special times with her family and grandchildren, and trying her luck with the slot machines. She was an active member of St. Pius X Catholic Church serving as a Eucharistic minister, past president of the KC Ladies Auxiliary, member of the Ladies Altar Society, member of the Always Young Club, and many other church functions. Pallbearers will be her cherished granddaughters. Visitation will be Sunday May 12, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a rosary at 7:00 pm at Rabenhorst East Funeral Home and on Monday May 13 at St. Pius X Catholic Church from 8:30 am until Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am to be conducted by Rev. Jon Koehler. Burial will follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks and appreciation to special caregiver, Jeannie Chustz, for her love, care, and dedication to our mother over these last several months.
