Jacquelyn Caracci Aucoin

A resident of Denham Springs and a native of Oscar, she passed away Tuesday, March 4, 2008, at The Retirement Center in Baton Rouge. She was 87, a homemaker and the wife of the late Nerie Aucoin. Survived by her daughters, Bobbie A. Hymel and partner Steven Barr, and Kathy Gilmore and husband Jerry; sister, Carrie Macalusa and husband Vincent; brother, Joseph Caracci and wife Stella; grandchildren, Scott Hymel and wife Heather, Travis Gilmore and wife Jennifer, and Jeremy Gilmore and wife Teran; and great-grandchildren, Rebecca, Olivia and Emma Hymel and Bryce, Caleb, Jude and Ella Gilmore. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Phillip Joseph and Josephine Triola Caracci; brothers, Anthony and Edward Caracci; and sisters, Annie Guarisco, Mary Macheca, Janie Sanchez and Chetta Magnani. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Thursday, March 6, was from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visiting at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 865 Hatchell Lane, Denham Springs, on Friday, March 7, from 9:30 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at noon, with the Rev. Vincent Dufresne, celebrant. Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Scott Hymel, Travis and Jeremy Gilmore, Jerry Gilmore, Steve Barr and Phillip Edwards.
