"Jack Thomas Conran, died April 5, 2017 at the Baton Rouge General Hospital. He was born July 28, 1928 in New Orleans, LA. He served in the U.S. Army Rangers during the Korean War, and was stationed in Austria. He later attended LSU, and graduated from the School of Journalism in 1956. He was a pharmaceutical sales representative for Bristol-Myers Squibb and retired in 1989. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Marlene, three daughters, Karen Hippard (Scott) of Gulf Breeze, Florida, Jean Domingues of Lafayette, and Julia McBride (Robert), twin brother William Conran of Bonita Springs, Florida, five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several nieces ans nephews. Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation Friday, April 7, from 10:00 a.m. "“ 12:00 p.m. at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government Street.
