Glenn was a retired General Manager at Ascension Fasteners. He was one of the hardest working people that you would ever meet. He was a devoted husband and loving father. Dad was a very quiet man who preferred enjoying life from the sidelines and observing others. He didn’t say much but if you were lucky enough to receive his advice, it was always worth listening to. He never was a fan of large crowds; he did not take “no” or “it cannot be done” for an answer and if he wanted something done, he would always say to “call Chantelle.” He really enjoyed collecting guns and knives, he loved horses and riding his tractor, and a “shot” of whiskey. Most conversations with him began with him asking if “you got your grass cut?” His yard was always cut. He enjoyed being outside in the cool weather perched on his tractor with a cold beer and cigarette. That was Daddy in his natural habitat. He loved his family and if he picked on you or gave you a hard time, it meant he really loved you.
He is survived by his 2 daughters Chantelle R. Harris and husband Wyatt of BR, LA, and Ashley Aurand of Prairieville, LA, 3 granddaughters, Raven Scott, Morgan Harris, and Parker Aurand, and 2 grandsons Darius Harris and Samuel Harris, his 3 sisters, Jackie Reynaud of Denham Springs, LA, Diana Blount of Shreveport, LA, Salianna Traylor and husband Cecil of Conover, NC, 1 brother, Clayton James Dauzat and wife Jennifer of Walker, LA, his Aunt Jan and Uncle Larry Reynaud, and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Thanks: To God, for blessing me with such a loving Daddy, to Wyatt, Darius and Aunt Jackie who picked up the slack for me at home so that I could be with Daddy until the end, to the staff at the BR Clinic who provided excellent medical care even when he refused to go to what he referred to as “the bull pen” for testing, to Raven for being there when we could not and for feeding his horse when he no longer could, to Robert for keeping his mower and tractor going, to Mike for helping him take care of his horse, to Aunt Chris for giving up her spot so he could be next to Momma, and to Ashley, for being strong when I could not.
