On Saturday, October 9, 2021, Frances "Janelle" Landry, loving sister, mother, grandmother and friend passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family at age 84. Janelle was born and raised in Baton Rouge, La. where she attended St. Anthony's Catholic school. She was married to her husband, David J. Landry, for over 40 years. They raised three daughters, Janette, Karen and Sharon. Janelle had a natural talent for crafting, sewing and gardening. She also loved to cook many of her family's favorite recipes. She really enjoyed sharing her hobbies with her daughters and grandchildren. She was known for her loving heart and her kind, compassionate spirit which will be incredibly missed. Janelle was preceded in death by her husband, David J. Landry, parents, Marie Odette & Joseph Roland D'abadie, two sisters and a brother. She is survived by her sister, June "Sister" D'abadie, her three daughters, Janette Graff, Karen Huff, Sharon Garrett (Norman), four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 15, 2021, at Roselawn Memorial Park on North St. in Baton Rouge at 10 o'clock a.m.
