Ervin Paul LeBlanc was born November 15, 1925 in Morganza La. and passed away at his home on June 27 at the age of 87. He was a long time resident of Baton Rouge and proudly served in the U. S. Army in Germany in World War 11. He loved his family and devoted his life to raising his six children and being married to his wife of 59 years, Patricia LeBlanc. Survivors include his wife and three daughters, Vicki and Terry Melancon, Laurie and Ken Schaumburger of Danville California and Elaine Wright of Riverside California and his three sons, David and Charlotte LeBlanc, Ken and Tori LeBlanc of Metaire, La. and Carl LeBlanc of Redlands, California. He had five grandchildren, Lacey Harrington and her husband Craig, Kaylan Melancon , Terry Melancon, Jr. , and Stephen and Alex Wright of Riverside, Ca. He also had two great grandchildren, Grace and Amelia Harrington. Also surviving is his twin brother Ernest LeBlanc and Laura Daigle both of Baton Rouge. He is preceded in his death by his brothers Norman and George LeBlanc and his sisters Enola and Vella Bouquet, and his beloved grandson Terry Melancon, Jr. He was a member of Most Blessed Sacrament Church and loved his church family. Pallbearers will be Terry Melancon, Ken Schaumburger, Stephen and Alex Wright , Craig Harrington and Russell Daigle. The wake will be at Tuesday July 2, 2013 from 5:00 to 8:00 at Rabenhorst East, Wednesday July 3, 2013, viewing at 9:45 followed by a mass at Most Blesssed Sacrement Church at 10:00 then the burial in Morganza at St. Ann's Church cemetery. Special thanks to Denise Dominque, Tina LeBlanc and the staff at Baton Rouge Hospice for the compassion and care they extended during his illness.
