Mrs. Eileen Mazur Pratt, a native of Amsterdam, N.Y., and a resident of Baton Rouge, passed away at 3:36 p.m. Wednesday, July 23, 2008. She graduated from Albany Business College. Before moving to Baton Rouge, Eileen was an executive secretary for a New York senator. Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Saturday, July 26, from noon until funeral service at 3 p.m. in the chapel, conducted by the Rev. Ted Roeling. Burial in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Mrs. Pratt is survived by her husband of 32 years, Warren L. Pratt Sr.; stepson, Warren L. Pratt Jr. and wife Linda Gail Pratt; a sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and Ted Zawistowski; two grandchildren, Angela and husband Ernie Bodie and Dr. Richard Warren Pratt and his wife, Dr. Erin Pratt; and four great-grandchildren, Sydney, Jake and Cole Bodie and Presley Pratt. She is also survived by two nephews and their wives, Paul and Michelle Zawistowski and John and Kathy Zawistowski; cousins, Alfred Mazur, Emma and Frank Magielda and Robert and Eugene Gretkirewcz; along with numerous other nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. Preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Josephine Mazur; and her aunt, Jean Wenger. Mrs. Pratt was the organist at the Good Sheppard Polish National Catholic Church in Amsterdam for many years. She had a great love for family, friends and animals, especially her four cats, Smokey, Tiger, Mikie and Ringo. Donations may be made to any animal protection center of choice.
