Daniel Blake Askew

He graduated from SMU with a Bachelor in Business Administration, and was a 32nd Degree Mason.

Mr. Askew was an operations manager with McKesson Chemical Company.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Daniel E. Askew, Washington Rose, Ardolia Jones, Lula Rose; his parents, Henry J. Askew and Eva Rose Askew; one brother, H.J. Askew, Jr.

Mr. Askew is survived by his wife, Nancy Lee Shehee Askew; children, Daniel G. Askew (his wife, Lori R. Askew), Victoria Jane Askew Cox (her husband, Tom Cox); grandchildren, Anthony Cox, Tracey Askew Miller, Jacquelyn Askew McClenny; great grandson, Maverick Cox.

Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd, Baton Rouge, on Friday, March 11, 2022 from 12 noon until funeral service at 2 p.m. with burial immediately following in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Please visit www.greenoaksfunerals.com to leave condolences to the family.
