Clayton Randal Callender

Clayton Randal Callender, 18, a native and resident of Baton Rouge, LA passed away on Thursday, July 26, 2012. A graduate of St. Thomas More Catholic Elementary School, Clayton was about to enter his senior year at Broadmoor High School. A loving son, brother, grandson, nephew and friend, Clayton was a young man whose eyes danced and his presence lit up a room. Known for his love of football and the University of Georgia Bulldogs, Clayton brought great joy to all he came into contact with. He surrounded himself with great friends who cared as deeply for him as he did for them. He is survived by his parents Mark and Adrienne Fox Callender; brothers: Garrett James Callender and Andrew Stephen Callender; maternal grandparents: Jimmy and Sandra Fox; uncle Chuck Fox and wife Mary Beth, aunt Ashley Hunt and husband Mark, and uncle Leslie Callender and wife Nina; cousins: Christopher, Mary Elise, Patrick, Julia, Claire, and Margaret Fox, Hayden, Grayson, and Parker Hunt, and Blaine, Katie, and Lindsey Callender. Clayton is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Jimmy and Shirley Callender. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Sunday, July 29, 2012 from 5pm until 9pm and continuing on Monday, July 30, 2012 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church from 9am until a prayer service will be held at 11am. Interment will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Garrett Callender, Andrew Callender, Christopher Fox, Patrick Fox, Hayden Hunt, Grayson Hunt, Parker Hunt and Blaine Callender.
