Christopher Brett Brett McCoy

Christopher “Brett” McCoy, 27, a native of Ville Platte and a resident of Central, passed away on Friday, December 7, 2012. A loving father, son and friend, Brett was the kind of person who would do anything for anyone. A hunter and fisherman, Brett loved working with his hands and enjoyed working on cars. He is survived by his parents Matt and Frances McCoy; children Casey McCoy and Elaina Noland and their mother Lindsey Noland and Kinzley McCoy and her mother Kaci Comeaux; maternal grandmother Gloria Freeman; paternal grandparents Stanley “Doc” and Janell McCoy; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Ted Freeman; aunt Barbara Sage and uncle Jim Baldridge. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 11, 2012 from 5pm until 9pm and continuing on Wednesday, December 12, 2012 from 8am until service time at 10am. Interment will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park.
