Charles Earl Tinkler, 60, passed away on Friday, November 22, 2024. A resident of Greenwell Springs, Louisiana, Charles was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, and a friend to all who knew him. His passing marks the end of a life well-lived, full of love, adventure, and selfless devotion to his family.
Born on September 24, 1964, in Baton Rouge, to John Tinkler and Janice LeMoine. He worked for Crawford Electric Supply for many years, serving as an Industrial Sales Manager. His dedication, work ethic, and warmth earned him the respect of both colleagues and customers.
In his free time, Charles found great joy in spending time with his family, and he was an avid traveler, often exploring the open road on his Harley Davidson. He also enjoyed the camaraderie of his friends and loved the simple pleasures of life. His laughter, kindness, and loyalty will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Charles is survived by his wife, Carla Williams Tinkler; his children, Claire LeBlanc (Chase), Chandler Tinkler (Blair Baker), and Sarah Lee (Max); his mother, Janice LeMoine; his father, John Tinkler (Sandra); his sisters, Mary Kay Tinkler and Karen Morrison (Mike); his brothers, Walter Tinkler (Nina) and John “Mac” Tinkler; as well as his beloved granddaughters, Ruby and Hannah Lee; his nephews, Ian Morrison and Christian Tinkler; and nieces, Katherine Tinkler, Madeleine Thaiville and Abigail Greer.
A visitation for Charles will be held Wednesday, November 27, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Rabenhorst Funeral Home & Crematory East, 11000 Florida Boulevard, followed by a memorial service at 1:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Charles’ memory to the American Cancer Society, 2605 River Rd., New Orleans, LA 70121.
Charles’ legacy of love, generosity, and adventure will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. He will be deeply missed, but his spirit will forever ride alongside us on every journey we take.
