Carrold Paul Daigle, 83, a native of White Castle, LA and a resident of Baton Rouge, passed away on Saturday February 27, 2010. He was a devoted father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy. Carrold was an avid hunter and a member the Whitevine Hunting Club. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Tuesday March 2, 2010 from 8:00AM until time of services at 2:00PM. Interment will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Rev. Norris Landry will be presiding over the services. Carrold is survived by his daughter Carol Hancock and husband William J. Hancock, Jr.; granddaughter Andria Yates and husband Jason Yates; special great grandson Lance Fisher Yates; and a special brother-in-law Rev. Norris Landry and wife Donna Landry. He is preceded in death by his wife Amelie Landry Daigle; parents Charles and Lydia Daigle; siblings: Francis, Marie and Lillian Daigle, Lena Landry, Allen, Desire, Norris, Wilbert, Charles Jr., Harold, and Lawrence Daigle. Pallbearers will be Troy Landry, Duffy Landry, Gary Landry, Charles Landry, Kendall Lakey, Paul Lakey, Mike Hebert and Mark Hebert. Honorary pallbearers will be the members of the Whitevine Hunting Club.
