Carrie was very creative and loved to dance. Her life was rich with family and friends. She was a fun loving, wife, mother, grandmother, homemaker, and friend. The grandchildren mention her unconditional love and game times as their fondest memories. Carrie never drove a car but raised four kids and didn’t let that stop her. She managed to go everywhere she needed to go with the help of her husband, family members and friends. She even took cabs and buses to her favorite casinos and dance spots! Her hobbies were having fun, dressing up, dancing and family vacations.
Carrie is survived by her daughters, Joycelyn Rayburn (Steve), and Virginia Gardner; grandchildren, Jacie Rayburn, Melanie Gardner, Sonja Carrie, Derek Rayburn, Michael Gardner, Shane Price, and Lydell Lichtenberg; great-grandchildren, Gardner, Talia, Sophia, Bethanie, and Yvette; sister, Ella Bennett; and daughters-in-law, Connie Landry Lichtenberg, and Olinda Lichtenberg.
