Carolyn Saucier Landreneau

She was a member of Comite Baptist Church, who enjoyed gardening, cooking, traveling, and spending time with her family. Carolyn met the love of her life, Larry, when she was 17 years old. They shared a beautiful life together and were a testament of true love. She always wanted a big family and she was very proud to be a home maker, wife, mother, and grandmother to her family. While she enjoyed taking care of her family, she was also very proud that she went back to school to earn her GED. Her illness stole time with her sweet grandchildren, but she gave all she could. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her loving husband of 59 years, Larry J. Landreneau; three daughters, Pam Myers (Rodney), Karey Landreneau, and Christy Ritchie (Rob); three grandchildren, Heather, Holly, and Joseph; five great grand-children, Rayleigh, Kaylen, Breanna, Jude, and Jordan; sisters-in-law, Ann Maddie and Mabel Jones (Grady); brother-in-law, Sylvan Landreneau (Barbara); and her niece, Debbie Durio. She is preceded in death by her parents, Kirby and Vernice Fontenot Saucier; sister, Ethel Fontenot; and her sister-in-law, Anna Mitchell.

A visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Thursday, June 8, 2023 from 9 am until funeral services at 11 am. Burial will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Please visit www.greenoaksfunerals.com to leave condolences to the family.
