Calvin Earl “Tinker” Ditmore; born April 12th, 1942, in Pampa, TX. A graduate of Pampa High School; started working at the Cabot Corp before transferring to Sid Richardson Carbon where he worked for 35 years before retiring. He dedicated his life to his wife & son. Preceded in death by his father, Calvin Lee Ditmore; his mother Betty Ann Mctaggart; his brothers, Mike Ditmore, and Joe Carney; and his sister, Carla Carney.
Calvin leaves behind his wife, Elizabeth Ditmore of 46 years, his son, Stephen Chism and wife Celina of Lafayette, LA. Stepson, Mike Curan of Jackson, LA. Brother, Jay Carney & wife Sandra of Vicksburg, MS. Sister, Dee Brooks & husband Bud of Nashville, TN. Grandsons, Anthony Dupuy of Lafayette, LA & Aaron Dupuy of Gonzales, LA.
Calvin died peacefully in his sleep on Friday, December 13, 2024, at Flannery Oaks Rehabilitation in Baton Rouge, LA.
In lieu of flowers please make a donation to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in his name.
A private graveside service for the family will be in Pampa, TX at a later date.
