Barbara Ann McKee Campbell

Barbara Ann McKee Campbell has rejoined her husband, Bobby, of 53 years, on Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at the age of 85. She was a native of Dallas, TX, and moved to Baton Rouge, LA, in 1976. She was always there for her mother, sister and brother. All the while, simultaneously working her entire life and raising her children. Barbara was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her family was her entire world. She carried the lion’s share; did the best she could, with what she had, always and everywhere. Barbara and Paige, her only daughter, were especially close the last 20 years. We love you mom, you’re a rock star! Barbara is survived by her children, Bob (Gretchen), Paige, Eric (Patti) and Darren (Sharon); 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren with three more on the way; siblings, Vickie and Danny; and a host of other loving family members and friends…you know who you are. Barbara is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Campbell, Sr.; and her parents, Buren and Cedalia. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA, on Thursday, June 8, 2023, from 1pm until the time of funeral services at 2pm. Burial will immediately follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park.
