A homemaker and a resident of Baton Rouge, she died on Monday, March 2, 2009, at St. Clare Manor. She was 90, a retired mail clerk for Jimmy Swaggart Ministries with 11 years of service and a native of Lantanier. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Thursday, March 5, was from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visiting continues at the funeral home chapel on Friday from 8:30 a.m. until religious service at 11 a.m., conducted by Dave Womack and Terry Bishop. Survived by daughters, Virginia Chandler and husband Robert, and Martha Castille and husband Lawrence; son, Luther R. Wilson; grandchildren, Robert Chandler and wife Katie, Jody Chandler and wife Britt, Stephen Chandler and wife Angela, Jennifer Westbrook, Amanda Hart, Christina Wilson, David Wilson, Jonathan Wilson, and Jared Wilson; and great-grandchildren, Lauren Chandler, Megan Hart, Jordan Westbrook, Brianna Wilson, Kara Wilson and Micah Wilson. Preceded in death by her husband, Luther D. Wilson; parents, Martha and Oliver Satcher; four brothers and four sisters. Pallbearers will be Robert, Jody and Stephen Chandler, Jonathan and Jared Wilson, Albert Castille, Robert Chandler and Rusty Acampore. Honorary pallbearer is William Wilson. The family wishes to express their appreciation to the staff at St. Clare Manor for the loving care and kindness shown to our mother. Also, we would like to express a special thank you to Bea Lafleur R.N., and staff of St. Joseph Hospice for the loving care given to our mother.
