“I have fought a good fight, I have finished my cause, I have kept the faith.” A loving wife, mother, and grandmother passed away Thursday, October 4, 2012, at the age of 77. She retired from Durametalic and was a Eucharistic Minister at St. Gerard Catholic Church. Visitation will be at St. Gerard Catholic Church on Plank Rd. on Tuesday, October 9, 2012, from 9 AM until funeral mass at 11 AM. Interment will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, John “Ken” Henderson; two sons, Patrick Bourg and wife, Jackie, and Brent Bourg and wife, Lisa; seven grandchildren, Nikki Plauche and husband, John, Andrea Lalonde, Bronson Bourg, Justin Bourg and wife, Ashley, Michael Posey and wife, Tracey, Kristen Bourg and Andrew Bourg; four great grandchildren, Brennan and Fisher Lalonde and Salese Bourg, and Bradley Bourg; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ivy Guidry and Hilda Guidry Boudreaux; former husband, Charles Ray Bourg; and two brothers, Irby and E.J. Guidry. Pall bearers will be John Plauche, Justin and Andrew Bourg, Michael Posey, Neil Guidry, and Bourg Langlois.
