Ms. Antonia B Cangemi

Antonia Belva Cangemi, age 82, of Baton Rouge, LA, passed away peacefully on October 8, 2024. She was a beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend. Antonia was passionate about her family and friends and filled her life with treasured hobbies that reflected her caring nature. In recent years, she found joy in quilting, fostering shelter dogs and crafting baby blankets. She was a devoted member of Foster Road Baptist Church, where her faith and love for her community were an important part of her life. Antonia is survived by her loving husband, Grady Moore; her children, Theresa Moore Lockwood and Scott Moore, spouse, Jill Moore; grandchildren, Chelsea Lockwood, Lauren Moore and Julie Moore. She is also survived by her sister, Carol Leblanc, and niece, Stephanie Turman. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dominic Cangemi and Belva Broussard Cangemi, and son, Anthony Moore. Visitation will be held 10:30 – 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at Foster Road Baptist Church in Baton Rouge, immediately followed by a memorial service. The family kindly requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Foster Road Baptist Church or Hospice of Baton Rouge. Antonia will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
