Alice Mary Grasso Cusimano, a native of Baton Rouge, peacefully passed away on August 25, 2022 at the age of 90. A loving wife, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. Alice was always willing to open her home to family and friends for holidays and special occasions. She was an amazing cook, everyone loved her spaghetti and meatballs and bird eye soup. A great pleasure for Alice was spending time with her sisters playing bingo, the lottery, and traveling to the casino. Her home was never quiet, either music filled the air with her three favorites, Eddie Arnold, Frank Sinatra, and Tom Jones or the game show channel was blaring full blast from the TV. Alice is survived by her sisters, Rosa Mills, Camille Grasso Manzella; brother, Basil Grasso; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Nick T. Cusimano; parents Joe and Mary Grasso; sisters, Myrtle Grasso, Josephine Harris, Mary Savoie, Tina Grasso, Annie Grasso, and Myrtle Grasso Porter; brother, Phillip Grasso; and nephews Jimmy Betts and Mark Crafton. A visitation will be held at St. Jude Catholic Church on Saturday, September 3, 2022 from 9:00am until the Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00pm. Pallbearers will be, Bobby Crafton, Todd Crafton, Joey Porter, Jeff Porter, Joe Grasso, Phillip Grasso, and John Harris. The family would like to thank Rebecca Cole, for her loving care of Ms. Alice.
