Virginia Elizabeth Davis Porter

Virginia Elizabeth D. Porter, 86, of Ridgeway, Virginia went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 20, 2024. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carlos J. Davis and Hazel B. Davis of Hillsville, Virginia. Elizabeth is survived by her children: Timothy C. (Sue) Porter, Patricia L. (Kirk, deceased), Craig, Mark A. Porter, and Jane (Ben) Mills. Grandchildren; Paige L. (Jason) Cahill, Walter R. Porter, Cory L. (Jessica) Craig, Jonathan C. Craig, Jessica E. (Scott) Bryant, Roxana L. Craig, Mark A. Porter, II, Christy L. Paige, Sarah E. (Steve) Huffman, Timothy A. Shoup, Zachary A. Shoup, and 21 great grandchildren. Brothers: C. Wayne (Lynn) Davis, Foye R. (Elender) Davis. Sisters: Frances F. (Gerald, deceased) Hawks and numerous nieces and nephews. She retired from retail work after many years of service. She loved meeting people and enjoyed traveling, attending gospel music concerts, and reading. Most of all she loved her Family and was proudest of her grandchildren and their accomplishments. She was committed to supporting and encouraging them all.
