Patricia (Pattie) Minnick Jefferson, age 75 of Bassett, VA, passed away on Saturday, August 17, 2024 at her residence. Pattie was born on February 18, 1949 to Elmore Cecil and Mamie Vaught Minnick. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Dottie Minnick Gray, brother, Raymond (Butch) Minnick, two sister-in-laws, Joann Minnick and Glenda Minnick, brother-in-law, Lonnie Handy, nephews, Brian Gray and Bobby Minnick. Pattie was of the Baptist faith. Pattie is survived by her son, Jerry W. Jefferson and wife, Donna of Rocky Mount, VA, two grandchildren, Heather C. Jefferson and Jordan W. Jefferson of Rocky Mount, VA, one sister, Nellie Minnick Handy of Radford, VA, one brother Dean Minnick of Martinsville, VA. and numerous nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, August 21, 2024 at 5 PM at Collins Funeral Home, 30 Riverside Hwy, Bassett, VA with Reverend Kirk Montgomery officiating.
