Glenda Harris Peeler

Glenda “Faye” Harris Peeler, 53, of Martinsville passed away on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at Inova Hospital of Fairfax, Falls Church, Virginia. She was born on February 9, 1962 in Hopkinsville, Kentucky to the late Richard Arthur Harris, Sr. and Geraldine Brown Harris of Martinsville. Faye was a Manager at several different banks before her retirement due to her health.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her sister, Carrie Lonnetta Harris.

Surviving in addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Kim Peeler of Baltimore, Maryland; daughter, Faith Andrea Draper ( Kealan) of Martinsville; her sisters, Wanda Early of Columbia, Maryland, LaDonna Perkins (Greg) of Axton, Stella Penn (Reed) of Martinsville, Juanita Sharman (Buddy) of Delaware and her brothers, Michael Harris of Lexington, Kentucky, Richard Harris, Jr. (Sabrina) and Donald Harris (Teresa) all of Martinsville and Johnny Harris of Columbia, Maryland: two grandchildren, Kamari Draper and Kamiyah Draper and numerous nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Sunday, February 7, 2016 at 3:00 PM at Collins Funeral Home-Bassett Chapel with Rev. Otis Dillard and Rev. Antonio Logan will officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. The Interment will follow in Harris Family Cemetery, Martinsville.
