Frances Hundley Willis

She was born November 17, 1928 in Martinsville, to the late Walter Lee and Callie Belton Hundley. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Hadden Willis in July 2010; brothers and sisters, Walter R. Hundley, Margaret Amy Tuggle, Julian Morton Hundley and Vivian Mae Willis. She was a Floor Supervisor for Pannill Knitting for many years before her retirement. She was a long time member of the Pleasant Grove Christian Church.

She is survived by her children, Linda H. (Dan) Gardiner of Radford and Jerry (Linda) Willis of Salem; 4 grandchildren, Chad (Samantha) Willis of Mooresville, NC; Trevor Willis of Charlotte, NC, Jessica (Will) White of Dublin, VA., Jon Harrison of Falls Church, VA; 2 great grandchildren, Chase Willis and Callie White; sister-in-law, Nellie B. Hundley of Bassett.

Family will receive friends Friday 11 am to 12 Noon at Pleasant Grove Christian Church, 5232 Preston Rd., Martinsville, with Rev. James Pence, officiating, with services to follow at 12 Noon.

Mrs. Willis will be laid to rest in the church cemetery beside her loving husband.
