Carolyn Hale

Carolyn Leona Spraker Hale, age 61 of Fieldale, VA passed away on March 12, 2023. Carolyn was born on December 18, 1961 in Martinsville, VA to the late Eldon Grey Spraker and the late Carole Roberson Spraker Triplet. She graduated from Jefferson College of Health Sciences as an RN and practice for a number of years at Memorial Hospital of Martinsville. She attended Mount Bethel UMC. She was a great cook, loved gardening, music and computers. Carolyn is survived by her husband, Tommy Wayne Hale of 32 years, one sister, Barbara Midkiff (Ken), stepfather, Bobby Triplet and stepmother, Lois Triplet, nieces, Amanda Gardner, Heather Billingsley, Jeannie Marie Hale, Ashley Lynn Cassady, Kasey Sheryl Fioramonti, great nieces and nephews, Colton Gardner, Anna Grey Gardner, Brytn Gardner, Keigyn Gardner, Elya Irene Gardner, Rileah Billingsley, Hunter Clayton, Riley Cassady, Andrew Cassady and Lea Rose Cassady. A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2023 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Collins Funeral Home, 30 Riverside Hwy, Bassett, VA with a funeral service to follow at 12:00 pm.
