Betty F. Jones

Mrs. Betty Frith Jones was born on January 14, 1932 in Franklin County, VA to the late Herbert Frith and the late Ada Ingram Frith. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Jackson Jones, Sr, a son, Kevin Jones, three sisters, Vivian Underwood, Gladys Lynch, Avis Sinclair, four brothers, Buren, Buford, Larney and Morris Frith. She was retired from Fieldcrest Mills where she was employed for many years. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Bassett. Mrs. Jones is survived by her son, Curtis J. Jones, Jr., her deceased son, Kevin Jones wife, Carrie Jones and a number of nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 14, 2023 at Collins Funeral Home, 30 Riverside Hwy, Bassett, VA from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with a funeral service to follow with the Reverend Doug Ramsey officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Burial Park. Pallbearers, Kyle Sigmon, Monroe Light, Tee Freeman, Jimmy Underwood, Chris Haskins, Michael Armes.
