He was born November 25, 1957 in Peoria to Fred and Beverly (Baxter) Harms. He married Michelle Janosov on April 28, 1979 in Peoria. She survives along with one son, Matthew Harms of Bartonville, nieces Stacy (Tim) Bruce, Keri Graham, along with other nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers: Frederick Harms, Jr, Roger Harms, one sister, Vicki Graham, and one son, Frederick Harms III.
Greg worked at Keystone Steel and Wire in the Steel Mill Department as an operator for 41 ½ years. He liked gardening, spending time working on his lawn, woodworking, fishing, and helping out friends and family.
Funeral services will be Friday, March 8, 2024 at 11 a.m. at the Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services.
Burial will be in Lutheran Cemetery in Peoria.
Memorials may be made to the Richard L Owens Hospice Home in Peoria.
