Born in Cincinnati, Ohio to Estelle Shockey, Susan was dedicated to taking care of those in need, and she excelled at it. She started out at the VA Hospital then spent 30+ years working for St. Francis Hospital and Nursing Home, and for the last 15 years, she was a hospice nurse.
As a nurse she saved and extended many lives, she even won awards for her nursing excellence.
Susan will be buried with the love of her life Tommy Campbell. They spent 23 wonderful years enjoying the sunshine together, Golfing, golf trips to Florida and gardening.
Tommy preceded her in death.
Susan is survived by her daughter, Mary Wood; son, Thomas Tathryn; mother, Estelle Shockey; grandchildren, Haley Wood, Adah Wood, and Paige Wood; and sister, Kathy Shockey.
