Peggy June Kimble Manley, 90, Memphis, TN passed away December 2, 2018 at Ave Maria Home. She was born November 26, 1928 in Charlotte, NC to Thomas and Mary Lee Kimble and married William Odell “Bill” Manley for 71 years. She worked for Delmar Studios, Charlotte, NC and Marcels Studio, Hurst, TX while raising 6 children. She was a member of the Eastern Star and Order of the White Shrine of Jerusalem. Her husbands’ work took the family to many cities, they lived in Charlotte, NC, Florence, AL, Memphis, TN, Jackson, MS, Irving, TX, Houston, TX, Hurst, TX and final resting place back to Memphis, TN. She is predeceased by her husband, parents, brothers and sisters, first born child, Christie Grant Furr Roach, and a granddaughter, Caroline Furr. Peggy is survived by children Carol McMullen, Murfreesboro, TN, Gail (Greg) Blankenship, Bartlett, TN who have spent the last 8 years overseeing the welfare, wellbeing and guardians of their parents, William “Bill” Manley, Jr., Philadelphia, PA, Richard Anthony “Tony” (Becky) Manley, Rowlett, TX, and Kathy Mincy, Richland Hills, TX, 27 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. Service will be December 6, 2018, visitation 1pm to 2pm followed by service at 2pm then burial at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Parkway, Bartlett, TN 38133.
