Pedro Najera Flores, age 58, of Cordova, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, August 11, 2024. Pedro was born November 5, 1965 in El Salitral de Carrera, Mexico. Pedro moved to the United States in 1985 and lived in Texas from 1985-2006. He married his wife, Ma Del Rocío Najera, on May 30, 1990. He moved his family from Texas to Mississippi in 2006 and resided there for 11 years before moving to Cordova, Tennessee in 2017. Pedro is the father of six children: Gladis Arévalo, Eugenio Nájera Ortiz, Pedro Najera Ortiz, Adrián Nájera Ortiz, Alondra Najera, and Carla Najera. Pedro is the grandfather of 6 grandchildren: Diana Arévalo, Andrés Arévalo, Vivían Ruth Najera, Reina Marie Najera, Max Gabriel Najera, Lourdes Najera.
A gathering of family and friends for Pedro will be held Sunday, August 18, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 North Germantown Parkway, Bartlett, TN 38133. On Monday, August 19 at 12:00 pm, the family will meet at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens and leave in procession from the funeral home to St. Michael Catholic Church at 12:30 pm. A visitation will take place on Monday, August 19 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at St. Michael Catholic Church. A funeral mass will occur Monday, August 19, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at St. Michael Catholic Church, 3863 Summer Ave, Memphis, TN 38122. A committal service will occur Monday, August 19, 2024 from 3:30 PM to 4:00 PM at Memphis Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, 3700 N Germantown Pkwy, Bartlett, TN 38133.
