Wayne and Sharon, I am so sorry to hear about your mother.  Tonight I was thinking about friends that I had not called lately and tried to call her number and found it was not a working number.  So I came to the computer and googled her and found that she had passed.  We go back a long way and she will be missed greatly.  Sending you my love and sympathy.

     I loved going to Aunt Martha's house.  She had the most beautiful flowers and plants in her yard.  My children, her Great Great Nephews, ALWAYS made sure to bring her some Tootsie Rolls!  
     You were loved and you will be missed.  Be at peace, Aunt Martha.

With heartfelt sympathy I wish you peace in the promise that life with God is eternal and hope you find comfort and peace to ease your broken heart.  I don't know if Sharon and Wayne remembers me and my sisters, but at one time we were very good friends.  We grew apart when we all left Egypt Baptist Church.  Your family was very special to my Daddy and Mamma (Paul & Elizabeth Sanders) and me and my sisters (Betty Weeks & Janie Montgomery).  Mrs. Simpson was always so sweet and loving.  I was sorry to hear of her passing.

Wayne and Sharon,  just saw this about your Mom. I am so sorry for your lost. Your Mom definitely has many jewels in her crown...when I married Gary I inherited the University Street/Ardmore family. I loved them all but your Mom was so special to me.  She helped me with my wedding, worked at the reception and when Jody came along, I can't tell you the times she helped me with babysitting, advice and a Motherly hug when I was at the end of my rope!  Memories of your Mom are precious.. she never said no to anyone that needed a helping hand...she was a true Christian lady and a dear friend to so many. She will be missed. 

Wayne and Sharon- 
Your Mom was a very loving and caring person and was a huge influence on hundreds of children that she cared for in the nursery at Ardmore Baptist Church and also at CrossRoads  Baptist Church. I know, because my 2 girls were the recipients of  that love and care.  She will certainly be missed by many, but never forgotten. 

My first memory is living next door to the Simpsons. Dad and Thomas were cousins and good friends,  and My Mom and Martha became very good friends attending Egypt Baptist Church and working in the nursery together.
Mom said she would take me over for Martha to watch while she vacuumed the house (  I didn’t like the loud noise of the vacuum ) Mom and Martha would have lunch together with their children. 
Martha was always so sweet and good to me. My latest and fondest memories are calling her up to see how she was doing. She would always respond with “Oh, I’m doing all right for an old woman if that Arthur (arthritis) would leave me alone.” And then she would laugh. I will sure miss her.  Love and prayers to all the family ❤️🙏
