Margaret Raines

Mary Margaret Raines, passed away July 7, 2023 at the age of 92. Margaret was born on November 1, 1930 in Pontotoc, Mississippi to Roy and Beulah Long. She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter Patricia Ann Raines. She is survived by her daughter Peggy (Jerry) of Lakeland and Jane (Robert) Voyles of North Little Rock, Arkansas, one grandchild Kimberly Moore, two great grandchildren Elizabeth and Erin, two great great grandchildren Brooklyn and Jaxson.

She worked as a seamstress for 20 years. She also worked at Methodist Hospital for 8 years. Margaret was a very involved member of Bellevue Baptist Church, where she worked in the nursery for over 16 years. She loved to travel, sew and garden in her free time. She loved to work puzzles.

A visitation for Margaret will be held Friday, July 14, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 North Germantown Parkway, Bartlett, TN 38133, followed by a funeral service from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
