Lois was born on December 15th, 1953 in Ripley, Tennessee. She was the baby of five siblings raised by their mom, Dorothy Almeda Lendermon Wicker. She had a happy childhood growing up in Hurt Village with friends that she had her entire life. She graduated from Memphis Technical High School in 1972. Lois was a dedicated mother to her son, Clay. She worked for Baptist Memorial Hospital for over 25 years as a Revenue Analyst. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and spoiling her girls.
She is joining her mother, Dorothy Almeda Lendermon Wicker; brother, James Lanny Wicker; nephew, Joshua Allen Wicker; great nephew, Jonathan Ray; sister-in-law, Darlene Wicker, and a great many other relatives who have been called home.
She leaves behind her son, Christopher Clay Bartlett (Kristin) and her most valued, cherished granddaughters, Karigan Noelle, Lillian Jacinda, and Brenna Louise. Sisters - Linda (Bill) Stafford and Carolyn (Frank) Skrocki. Brother - David Wicker. Many nieces and nephews - Toni (Billy), Frankie (Stacie), Lil Dave (Shanda), Melissa (Matt), Stacy (Bryan), Danny, Ben, Shelton, Billy (Annie), Daniel, and Christopher. Great nieces and nephews - Tanner, Ainsley, Amber, Patrick, Kyle, Elijah, Dallin, Dawson, Linda,Bethany, Edward, Jackson, Mason, Chandler (Peyton), Chelsea (Adam), and Chase. Great-great niece and nephews - Paxton, Elsie, and Maddox.
Family and friends will gather on Thursday, October 17 from 5:00 p.m. until a family led memorial begins at 6:30 p.m. all at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Road, Bartlett, Tennessee 38133. A private burial will be held in Ripley, Tennessee at Walnut Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
