Lloyd W. Rhea , Jr. “Bubba Jr.”, 67, of Iuka, Ms., formally of Memphis, passed away on Tuesday night, July 14, 2015 at Baptist Hospital East. Lloyd was an Air Force veteran during the Vietnam War. He was retired from the Shelby County Sheriff’s Department as a Deputy Jailer. Lloyd was preceded in death by his father Lloyd W. Rhea, Sr. He is survived by his mother,Marie Rhea, his brothers, Randy Rhea (Karen), Jeff Rhea, sisters, Brenda Cottingham (Terry), Liz Williams (Allen), Rita Caldwell (Mark), Lisa Bishop, and Dee Dee Ortiz, 19 nieces and nephews, 25 great-nieces and nephews, and many other relatives and friends. Memorial contributions can be made to The American Heart Association. The family will receive friends and relatives on Friday, July 17th from 5-7pm at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd. Bartlett. The funeral will be held on Saturday at 10am also at the funeral home. The burial will follow at Slayden Baptist Church Cemetery, Slayden, MS.
