Jerry William Kessler, 83, went to be with his Lord and Savior on June 23rd, 2023. He was born on September 16th, 1939 in Sandusky, OH, to Robert and Norma Koch Kessler. After high school in 1957, Mr. Kessler joined the U.S. Navy and served 4 years. During his tenure, he was aboard the U.S.S. Intrepid in the Mediterranean Sea. He would eventually move to Memphis to work as a Machinist for Smith and Nephew. He loved watching sports, fishing, golfing, and all things Ohio; Cleveland Browns, Cleveland Indians, and THE Ohio State.
He is survived by his loving wife, Martha Kessler; four children, Yvonne Lehr, Arthur Rodriguez III, Robin Rouse, and Johnathon Kessler; four grandchildren, Jordan Lehr, Micheal Rodriguez, Emma Rouse and Dylan Rouse. A brother Tom Kessler and a sister Diann Plue.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Sunday, July 2, 2023 from 12 pm until 2 pm at Memphis Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Road, Bartlett, Tennessee 38133.
Burial with Military honors will be held in California.
