James “Jim” A. Gurley, 82, of Germantown, TN passed away on Thursday, July 7th, 2016. He was preceded in death by his three brothers, Marshall Gurley, Melvin Gurley and Raymond Gurley. Mr. Gurley is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Georgia Gurley, son, Mike Gurley, a sister, Marie Snider, and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Gurley was born to Luther and Lois Gurley. He is a U.S. Airforce veteran. He married the love of his life, Georgia, on September 17th, 1959. He retired from Union Planters Bank. The family will receive friends and relatives on Sunday, July 10th from two o’clock in the afternoon until four o’clock in the afternoon at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd in Bartlett. The funeral will be held on Monday, July 11th at 10am, also at the funeral home.
