Edward J. McKim

Edward J. McKim, 84, of Memphis passed away on Monday August 18, 2014. Mr. McKim was born in Richmond, VA on April 25, 1930 to Edward J. and Louise Wiltshire McKim. He was retired from Leone’s Liberty Cash # 17, a member of Crossway Church and was a United States Marine Corps veteran. Mr. McKim, the widower of Sybil Janet McKim is survived by his three children, Mike McKim, Carol Durbin and Kevin McKim, all of Memphis; three sisters, Barbara Jean Vermillian, Audrey Mays and Charlene Rainey; five grandchildren, Heather Cliburn, David Durbin, Jr., Christy Ayotte (D), Stephen McKim and Leslie McKim, all of Memphis and 10 great grandchildren, Dianna Parker, Christopher Parker, Kayla Ayotte, Jordan Cliburn, Mia McKim (D), Jacob Cliburn, Mack McKim, Riley McKim, Christian Durbin and Riley Lynn Durbin, all of Memphis.. The family will receive guests this evening, Wednesday, August 20 from 5-8 p.m. at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd. A celebration of life will be at 10 a.m. Thursday morning, August 21 at Crossway Church with interment to follow in Memorial Gardens.
