David Lynn Laster, 70, of Oakland, Tennessee passed away Wednesday, November 8, 2017. He was retired from the City of Memphis, loved golfing, working in his yard, working with computers, loved riding motorcycles with Faith Riders and was a member of Oakland First Baptist Church. Mr. Laster was preceded in death by his brothers, Howard Laster and Ralf Laster; sister, Mildred Cozort; and is survived by his wife, Elouise Laster; daughters, Kim Gable and Dawn Wooten; son, Timothy Tillman; sister, Belinda Barn; brother, Tom Laster; grandchildren, Candi, Courtney, Chris, Cody, Cameron, Shana, Megan, Lindsey, Kathryn and Jessica. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 13, 2017 at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd., Bartlett, Tennessee. The family requests that memorials be sent to Oakland First Baptist Church or the American Cancer Society.
