Carol Ann Wiley entered into the loving arms of her Savior, Jesus, on May 18, 2023 at Germantown Methodist Hospital after a long illness. She was born May 19, 1944 and died the day before her 79th birthday.
She leaves her husband of 58 years, Rev Sam D. Wiley, Sr.; two sons, Marcus Wiley (Kim) and Doug Wiley, Jr. (Pam); two granddaughters, Cayla and Cari; one great granddaughter, Brinley and a multitude of friends and family who were touched by her life.
Carol served with Sam for many years in the Singles’ Ministry at Central Church. After graduating from Creighton College with a degree in Counseling, she joined the staff of Citizens for Community Values (now A Way Out Ministry). This has been Carol’s passion for thirty years, as she compassionately ministered to women in the sex trafficking and prostitution trade, going to many dark and dangerous places to minister to these women. She took many that were mistreated victims and felt worthless and showed them how they could have a victorious life in the kingdom of our God and Savior.
Visitation will be from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on June 1, 2023 at Crossroads Baptist Church in Eads, TN followed by a Celebration of Carol’s Life at 2:00 PM
