BETTY LOUISE HUTCHINSON loving wife of Harold Wayne Hutchinson of 28 years was born to the late Thomas Harrell Helt, and Mary Francis Helt on July 15, 1961 in Memphis Tennessee. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters MaryAnn Reed, and Janet Maroon and one granddaughter Lily Grace. She is survived by two daughters, Roxanne Barnett (husband Trey)and Brooke McGhee (husband Miles), six grandsons, Jaxon, Kade, Easton, Colin, Liam, and Abram and two granddaughters, Mary Katherine and Evelyn Kay. She is also survived by three nieces, Leslie Chung, Tracy Vallery, and Barbara Mann, and one nephew Johnathan Taylor.
Betty’s passion was spending time with her family on the Isle of Palms South Carolina. She loved being on the ocean and beach. She enjoyed spending time on their boat on Pickwick Lake. She was looking forward to the arrival of their second granddaughter Evelyn Kay. She loved to travel and spend time with her family. She was very passionate, and always willing to go out of her way to help people. She loved doing crafts and listening to country music. She loved her dog Piper.
A visitation for Betty will be held Sunday, February 18, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 North Germantown Parkway, Bartlett, TN 38133, followed by a celebration of life at 2:00 PM.
