Bruce Alonzo Fries

Bruce Alonzo Fries, age 69, of Barstow, California passed away on Wednesday, September 7, 2022. Bruce was born September 4, 1953. Bruce was born in Iowa....moved to Barstow in 1960. He loved Barstow and the surrounding desert. He enjoyed the outdoors and spent most of his time in the desert. He belonged to the High Desert Gold Diggers where he would go out searching for gold prospects. He also loved playing darts and belonged to a dart team team. He retired from Barstow college in 2018. He is survived by 2 daughters April Fries of Barstow and Krystina Silva from Florida...4 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. His grandkids were his life. He's survived my one sister Ramona Fries of Barstow. Proceeded in death by his parents Dale Fries and Joyce may and one brother Jeff Fries of Barstow. He was a good man, who would give the shirt off his back for anyone!! He was the best Dad and Grandpa anyone could ask for and he will be missed terribly

A celebration of life memorial service for Bruce will be held Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Mead Mortuary, 36930 Irwin Rd, Barstow, California 92311.
