She is survived by her loving family; devoted husband Jack of 49 years, three children — Neil (Michelle) McKellar of Edmonton, Carol (Colin) Bishop of Edmonton, and Darlene (Robert) Gardiner of Red Deer, grandson Steven, father Norman Bakker, and brother Wayne (Darlene). She is predeceased by her mother Emma (Kroening) Bakker.
The funeral service will be held on September 26, 2015, at 1:00 p.m. at Christ Lutheran Church in Mellowdale (near Barrhead) with Pastor Reinhard Dittmer. Internment will be in the Mellowdale Cemetery with lunch and fellowship to follow.
In Lieu of flowers, donations are gratefully accepted directly to Concordia Lutheran Seminary, Mellowdale Church Building Fund, or the charity of choice.
