Ronald Jones

Ronald Jones, age 79, of Montgomery County, MD, peacefully passed away surrounded by his loving family on December 6, 2022. He was an attentive father and grandfather, who adored his children and grandchildren, and delighted in many activities with them. Our family is proud to celebrate his life, accomplishments, and values.

Ron was born in Maryland and raised by his devoted parents, Euell and Mildred. During his early career he contributed to several Apollo space missions and later as a bio-electrical engineer to the development of cardiac defibrillator and pacemaker technologies. In addition to his work, Ron loved reading, science fiction (especially Star Trek), history, travel, the outdoors, theater, and spending time with his family.

Ron is survived by his son Michael (and wife Dana), his daughter Catherine, and his grandchildren Ashley, Jackson, and Jacob.

Relatives and friends of the family may gather at Charles S. Zeiler & Son, Inc., 6224 Eastern Avenue, Baltimore MD 21224 on Monday, December 19th for a viewing (10:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.) and funeral service (12:00 - 1:00 p.m.). Interment will occur after the funeral service at 1:30 p.m. at Oak Lawn Cemetery, with a reception following.
