She worked for many years as an Executive Assistant for a financial firm in Baltimore. She enjoyed scrapbooking, crafting, and spending time at the beach (her happy place). She loved spending time with friends who were family every chance she could get. Affectionately known as “Aunt Karen” and “Lil Sis”, she had many “sisters, “nieces” and “nephews”. Her favorite things to do with them were playing board games and celebrating their birthdays!
Karen is survived by her mother Judith and her brother William (Billy) Charles Spencer, Jr.
A visitation for family and friends will be held at the Burgee-Henss-Seitz Funeral Home, 3631 Falls Road, Baltimore, Maryland 21211 on Friday, March 24, 2023 from 3:00pm to 5:00pm and 7:00pm to 9:00pm.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 25th at 11:00am at Hampden United Methodist Church, 3449 Falls Road, Baltimore, MD 21211 with a visitation one hour prior to the service. A graveside service will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, 2130 Woodlawn Dr, Baltimore, MD 21207.
