Jose Piceno Gonzales was born on September 2, 1954 in Tijuana, Mexico to Filiberto and Esther Gonzalez. Growing up with 4 brothers and 1 sister, family was the centerpiece of his life. He valued God and family above all else and so, when he married our beautiful mother and had his own family, he called himself the most blessed and successful man on Earth.
He was given a second chance at life and he filled that time with love, laughter, and living each moment with those he loved. So, it was no surprise that when God called him home, he was surrounded by his family, love, and peace.
He is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his children: his son, Adrian Gonzales and his wife, Veronica. His son, Erik Gonzales and his wife, Marlen. His daughter, Valeri Nixon and her husband, Jason. And his daughter, Samantha Gonzales. He was blessed with 7 grandchildren: Jonathan, Desiree, Gabriella, Elijah, Dalene Gonzales, Nathan and Joseph Nixon. He was cherished by his siblings: Tony, Henry, Mike, Daniel, and Norma.
We will all miss him so much but are comforted by the love we will forever have in our hearts for the man that holds the roots to our family tree.
