Jesse Coronado

Jesse Coronado, beloved father, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on November 20, 2024, in Bakersfield, California, at the age of 83. Born on May 6, 1941, in Texas, Jesse was the cherished son of Manuel Coronado and Juanita Coronado. Throughout his life, he left an indelible mark on everyone he met, and his legacy will continue to resonate in the hearts of those who loved him.

Jesse is preceded in death by his devoted wife, Inez Coronado and son, Roy Coronado. He is lovingly remembered by his daughters, Shari Martinez, Sonya Trevino, and Jenny Frank; and his son Jesse Coronado Jr.. His family remembers him not only for his strength and wisdom but also for the joy he brought into their lives.

A visitation will be held on Monday, December 9th, from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM at St. Francis Church, located at 900 H St, Bakersfield, CA 93304. A rosary will follow from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM, leading into a funeral mass from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. After the mass, a graveside service will take place at Hillcrest Memorial Park, 9101 Kern Canyon Road, Bakersfield, CA 93306.

Friends and family are invited to gather for a reception following the graveside service from 12:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the Fraternal Order of Eagles Hall, 1718 17th St, Bakersfield, CA 93301.

Jesse Coronado’s spirit will be missed dearly. He touched many lives and will be remembered for his warmth, kindness, and love. May he rest in peace.
