Gail Yvonne McDonald (Belcher) Pedersen July 7, 1937 - December 1, 2012 Gail Yvonne McDonald (Belcher) Pedersen July 7, 1937 - December 1, 2012 Gail was born July 7, 1937 in Laramie, Wyoming, and peacefully passed away at home on December 1, 2012, in Bakersfield, California, with her children by her side. She is preceded in death by her mother, Agnes Wilden, and her father, Cap McDonald, and her husband, Richard Belcher, Sr. She is survived by her sister, Valerie Napier, son and daughter-in-law, Richard andSherry Belcher, daughter and partner, Linda Belcher and Connie Olmos, daughter and son-in-law, Pamela and Randy Cheatwood, and grandchildren, Cole (Vicki) Cheatwood, Garrett (Candice) Cheatwood, and Breann Belcher. She also left behind her very special and devoted friend, Bill Walls and their dog, Winston. Gail was very beautiful, loving, caring, and thoughtful. She was a generous mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, aunt, and friend. Her greatest joy was in raising her children. She lived a full and happy life and she cherished spending time with family and friends. She also enjoyed spending time in her yard making it welcoming to all. Gail was very proud of her children and grandchildren and all of their accomplishments. She was particularly fond of family get-togethers and holidays, especially Christmas. The family expresses their sincere appreciation to Eve Moore, caregiver, Optimal Hospice, and Guardian Home Care who all lovingly cared for Gail. Please gather with us to celebrate her life at Hillcrest Memorial Park and Mortuary on Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. for chapel services.
