Dale Edward McCall was born in Albuquerque New Mexico on July 11, 1941. He was called home by his heavenly Father on April 24th, 2019 in Bakersfield California. He joins his beloved parents, Katherine and James McCall, and sister, Gale Welbaum. His loving memory will live on in his wife, Hilda McCall, his daughters Adrienne Koopman and Elizabeth Lawrence, his six grandchildren, Robert, Ariana, David, Sage, Katerina, and Conner, and great-grandchild Alexander, as well as with their loving spouses, Ray, John, Danielle, and Christopher. Dale was born in New Mexico but raised in Santa Monica, California. He graduated from Santa Monica High Schoo, then Santa Monica Community College before he went on to complete a Master's in Spanish at UCLA. He was fluent in 5 languages: English, Spanish, German, Russian and Portuguese. He was a loyal employee of Golden State Paint for 50 + years. He was a great fan and avid collector of Stephen King novels. He was a writer and musician. He particularly enjoyed country music. He was devoted to his family.
